15Th ANNUAL QUILT FESTIVAL
August 7 and 8
A variety of quilts spanning several generations will be displayed throughout the historic Pomeroy Farm on August 7th and 8th 2010. From the barn to the log house, from the garden to the blacksmith shop, a myriad of quilts will be hung for all to enjoy. Quilt shops and other vendors will be here to sell their wares. Hay rides will be available for a small fee, and an antique farm machinery demonstration promises something for everyone.
Pomeroy Living History Farm depicts pre-electric 1920’s life in the Lucia Valley of Northern Clark County. The historic six-bedroom log house, barn, operating blacksmith shop and other various outbuildings will be available for viewing. Extensive herb and vegetable gardens give evidence of the self-sufficiency of early century farms.
The Farm Café will be open throughout the day both Saturday and Sunday.
Admission fees are $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children 3-11. Ages 2 and under are admitted free. Festival admission includes the quilt show, presentations, access to over 15 quilt vendors and all farm activities. Hours are: Saturday 10am to 5pm; Sunday 1 to 5pm.
